From June 13 to 17, 2025, AVPN returns to Brazil with a full schedule of initiatives dedicated to the promotion of Vera Pizza Napoletana, including institutional meetings, public events, and professional competitions. A week that will involve pizzaioli, enthusiasts, and industry professionals in a great tribute to Neapolitan tradition.
June 13 – Brasília
The mission kicks off with an institutional visit to Senac University – Faculty of Gastronomy, a key institution in professional culinary education. During the visit, a pre-agreement will be signed to initiate the process for Senac to become an official AVPN training center in Brazil.
June 14 – Brasília
At 4:00 PM, the 1st edition of Pizzafest Brasil will begin — an extraordinary event celebrating Vera Pizza Napoletana, designed for both the general public and professionals.
In the picturesque garden of the pizzeria Casa Baco, two wood-fired ovens and a fryer will form the heart of the event. Thirty AVPN affiliates from Brazil will take turns presenting their creations to the public:
Gil Guimarães, Peterson Secco, Gonzalo Gara Varo, Francesco Freire Afranio, Thieris Galdino, Juan Carlos Romero, Alessandro Vallino, Pierluigi Russo, Gabriel Tritapepe, Amanda Queiroz, Vinicius Campos, Jonathan Egana, Gabriel Rossi.
Joining them will be a special guest directly from Naples: Attilio Bachetti.
An additional masterclass area will offer educational sessions for both families and professionals, providing an immersive learning experience.

June 16 – São Paulo
Time for competition with the Brazilian stage of the Vera Pizza Napoletana Champion.
The top 3 winners will earn the opportunity to travel to Naples in 2026 to compete in the world finals of the championship (flight and accommodation included).

June 17 – São Paulo
The mission concludes with a masterclass on Vera Pizza Napoletana — a unique opportunity to explore the techniques, history, and secrets of authentic Neapolitan pizza.
