To the top three classified professional courses as gift while at the 3 pizzas most voted on social networks, the brand new online courses as prize.
“Homemade dough-making has become a powerful exercise against lockdown stress. The greatest satisfaction – states Antonio Pace, president of AVPN - was receiving many thanks from Italy and abroad for having conceived this initiative which generated a surprising support”.
So many photos of pizza arrived, almost 800 (half of which were excluded because they didn’t comply with the regulation), 30,000 total likes and 2.500 comments.
“With a game - Pace declares – we managed to keep people at home company because we know that pizza unites and shortens distances.”
The challenge launched by Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana was a contest where participants, inspired by the International Regulations, had to make a pizza cooked in a domestic electric oven, send the photo and be voted on.
The twenty most voted pizzas on Facebook then passed to the jury, made up of 5 AVPN Brand Ambassadors from all over Italy, who decreed the first three winners of the competition:
The judjes Guglielmo Vuolo (4A e Guglielmo Vuolo, Napoli e Verona), Corrado Scaglione (Enosteria Lipen, Canonica Lambro - MB), Marco Leone (Papè Satan - S. Teresa di Gallura - OT), Gennaro Battiloro (Battil’oro, Querceta - LU) e Luca Tudda (Ammasciata, San Marco Argentano - CS) they virtually met and after three long calls they decreed the winners.
Because of the media success, the Association has decided to add an additional prize to the first three pizzas most voted on social networks, giving their authors some of the brand new online video-courses (https://www.pizzanapoletana.org/en/video_on_line) that represent the first step in the AVPN School digitalization process.
