AVPN’s role as an authoritative and reliable institution for advanced training in the field of Neapolitan pizza is substantiated by the recognitions it has obtained and by the certifications of its training activities, including:

  • AVPN’s contribution to the achievement of the Traditional Specialty Guaranteed (TSG) designation awarded by the European Union in 2004.
  • AVPN’s decisive involvement in supporting the candidacy that led, in 2017, to the inscription of the Art of the Neapolitan Pizzaiolo on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as well as its official recognition as the Reference Community entrusted with safeguarding and transmitting this cultural heritage.
  • AVPN’s accreditation as a training provider by the Campania Region (accreditation code 3150-1-1).
  • AVPN’s collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) for the international promotion of Italian agri-food heritage.
  • AVPN’s participation in the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, in cooperation with numerous Italian embassies.
  • AVPN’s promotion of the UNI certification mark for Neapolitan Pizza, in compliance with the UNI 10791:1998 standard, which defines the requirements for “Verace Pizza Napoletana Artigianale,” including raw materials and production processes.
  • The memorandum of understanding signed between AVPN and the University of Naples “Federico II” concerning technical cooperation on chemical and physical analyses of products included in the Register of Approved Suppliers, as well as related scientific research activities.
  • AVPN’s certification in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, UNI EN ISO 45001:2018, and UNI EN ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards for the design and delivery of training programs for professionals in the restaurant and hospitality sectors.
  • The establishment of the “Socio-Economic Observatory of Neapolitan Pizza” by AVPN, in collaboration with the University of Naples “Parthenope,” CNR, and FIPE Campania.
  • AVPN’s collaboration with Caritas Campania on the social initiative “Pizza, a Gesture of Love.”
  • AVPN’s membership in the Group of Advanced Training Schools of the Restaurant Industry (FIPE).
  • AVPN’s agreement with Ritsumeikan University of Kyoto, under which it holds the academic chair dedicated to the training of authentic pizzaioli within the Faculty of Food Management.
  • The memorandum of understanding signed by AVPN with Senac University of Brasília for the implementation of training programs dedicated to the Neapolitan pizzaiolo tradition.
