The winning confirms the great professionality and quality of the pizzamakers of VPN delegations. After Giulio Adriani, the owner of our Member 'La Corte dei Borboni' in Ostia, the first Italian who won the America's Plate in New York and the World Championships in Salsomaggiore, Akinari Makishima pizzaiolo of the pizzeria 'Cesari' in Nagoya won the 9° international championship of pizzaiuolo that took place in Naples last 25th of May, for the pizza napoletana stg.
After Makoto Onishi, winner of Pizzafest 2003, with his victory Makishima confirms that the goal of our Association who has always believed in the professionality of the Japan pizzamaker and the great job of the Japanese Delegation with Akio Nishikawa and Yoichi Watanabe who have been promoting for more than five years seminars, training and insights on the true Neapolitan pizza in Japan.
