During Pizzafest 2006, the Internation Competition "Vote your Pizza" took place, with a technical Jury made of experts in this field, journalists and VIPs voting the best quality pizza from a technical point of view. After a careful rating by both juries, and being the participants completely anonymous, the most voted pizza-restaurant resulted to be "Salvatore Cuomo" from Tokyo, whose pizza-maker is Makoto Anishi, and two of his colleagues (who won the Pizzafest 2003 Competition). The Honour Hall was given to "Pizzeria Umberto" from Naples, while the 3rd prize went to Pizzeria "Al Borgo" from Molinara (Bn).
