The AVPN in support of the Protection Consortium
A call to action to save the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP. To launch the initiative is the Consortium of Protection, following the approval of the decree that obliges operators included in the control system to produce DOP Mozzarella di Bufala Campana in establishments exclusively devoted to this production. A measure that threatens the very survival of the mozzarella DOP, since from July (the date on which it enters into force, the Law 205/2008 many companies will be forced to move away from Dop to dedicate to the production of cheese non-certified, made with buffalo milk also from other sources, which will have cost and lower quality. The AVPN could not remain indifferent and supports the petition Save the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, to protect one of the most important Italian product, a symbol of the South working and producing.
