FOOD4THOUGHT: A great success for the day dedicated to the Neapolitan pizza
Fifty boys in class with Lello Surace
They learned the how to cut the pizza dough. They enjoyed to manipulate the dough, roll it out, to select the right ingredients to make a high quality product. It was a successful the lesson of the True Neapolitan Pizza which was attended by over 50 young people from across Europe The initiative is part of FOOD4THOUGHT, the project commissioned by the European Agency Comenius to sensitize young people about proper nutrition and the specificities of local gastronomy. Students have gathered at Mattozzi in Piazza Carita' to listen to a story about the history of pizza, which was followed by an exciting practical workshop about the most important phases of the process.
