Wednesday, January 22 at 18 at La Feltrinelli in Via Santa Caterina a Chiaia, will be presented the book "Farina Acqua Lievito Sale Passione", by the True Neapolitan Pizza published by Malvarosa editions.Speakers of the event will be Antonio Pace President of the True Neapolitan Pizza Association; Massimo Di Porzio, Vice President, Tommaso Esposito, a journalist. Moderated by the journalist Santa Di Salvo. During the meeting there will be also a practical demonstration by a master pizza maker who, in a wooden kneading trough, will prepare a perfect pizza dough at the moment. Followed by a tasting of pizzas paired with the Gragnano Grotta Del Sole.
The book was born to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the True Neapolitan Pizza Association (1984-2014), is a tribute and at the same time a journey to discover the universe of pizza. Accompanied by the beautiful photos of Vittorio Sciosia, the book tells through text and images the extraordinary manual skill of pizza masters, their art, the alchemy of the dough and the importance of the ingredients, as well as the sense of belonging to the places that built the history of Naples .
Carlo Petrini, founder of Slow Food signed the preface of the book and the introduction is by Anthony Pace and Tommaso Esposito. Over 60 recipes complete the book that, page by page, also tells us anecdotes and curiosities of today and yesterday.
