'Vera pizza napoletana' Training
New sessions of intensive training about 'Vera pizza napoletana' is going to start the 8th of March 2010 in Naples.
The laboratory of the training will be held in the "IV IPSSAR" via Gorizia, 2 in Naples. It will run for 5 days (intensive laboratory, professional Stage in wellknown neapolitan pizzeria and Theory). At the end of the training we do a Training knowledge Test of skill (pratical skill in making classical neapolitan pizza and knowledge of products).

New trademark gives Naples a pizza history
Traditional pizza makers in Europe celebrated this month after a protective mark for Naples' famed Neapolitan variety came into effect. An IP Right under European law, the Traditional Speciality Guaranteed (TSG) seal is one of three geographical marks that the European Commission (EC) can award to products, usually foodstuffs, with links to specific regions.

In 1984, together with a group of keen friends representing the old tradition of pizza-makers and the owners of the most famous pizza restaurants in town, we founded the VPN Association.
We established a set of simple rules, committing ourselves to observe them, well aware that Neapolitan pizza has no inventors, nor fathers or masters, but it is the result of Neapolitan people genius.
